Traditional Decanters

DECANTER TYPE A

It consists of a vertical cylindrical section container with a 60 or 90 conical bottom, made entirely of GRP. (Glass Fibre Reinforced Plastic) supported by four painted steel legs with relative bracing and support plates. Standard equipment includes two flanged outlets for clear water and sludge discharge.

DECANTER TYPE B

It consists of a vertical cylindrical section container with a 60  or 90  conical bottom, made entirely of GRP. (Glass Fibre Reinforced Plastic) supported by four painted steel legs with relative bracing and support plates. Standard equipment includes three flanged spouts, fluid inlet, clear water outlet and sludge discharge, a notched overflow channel and a stilling well with associated support bars.

SECTORS OF USE

TYPE A

The most common application is to use this container as a thickener, to concentrate the sludge before disposal or passing it through a filter press.

TYPE B

The most common application is to use this container for settling medium volumes of wastewater that require a high retention time.
